There are to many thieves and wizards sneaking around and blasting enemies with magic while clanking in heavy armor. I had an idea for Light and Heavy Armor types which would penalize players depending on the skills they use and the armor they have equipped. Silencio asked if I would start a wiki page for feed back from the players. Please feel free to leave ideas, or in the case of wizards and thieves, leave your angry opinions. All and all I believe this would add some balance for the poor warriors who can't bash through their opponents tank like armor while they are getting earthquaked to death.

Light Armor - Light armor should be penalty free. All players should be able to wear it.

  • Leather Hood
  • Leather Skull Cap
  • Fur Armor
  • Soft Leather Armor
  • Hard Leather Armor
  • Studded Leather Armor
  • Leather Greaves

Medium Armor - Medium armor should only give a small penalty to the wearer. It should effect your chances of being discovered while Pickpocketing, aswell as make you come out of hiding more often while moving while hidden. It also should weaken damage done by magical attacks.

Heavy Armor - Heavy armor is more common amongst warriors in fantasy, so it should be the same here. Characters still have the option of wearing heavy armor, but should take high penalties while using thief, ranger, war mage, and necromancer skills.
